Creating email accounts in HostPanel
HostPanel, the all-in-one hosting control panel integrated into your Softxaa-managed hosting account, allows you to create email addresses associated with main and addon domains added to your HostPanel. The number of inboxes you can set up depends on the limit set in your hosting account. Here’s what you need to do to create a new one:
- Log in to HostPanel’s user interface and go to the email account. The utility for managing email accounts is available under the Email section on HostPanel’s homepage.
- Create a new email address and set a password. At the bottom of the page, you’ll see a list of all existing email addresses set up in your hosting account. Above that, you have a form to create a new inbox You need to choose a username and a domain from the drop-down menu next to it. Once this is done, you can set the password for the inbox. The password should be at least eight characters long and include at least one letter, number, and symbol. You can use the HostPanel password generator to generate strong passwords.
- Click on create email button to complete the process, HostPanel will make your new email inbox in a few seconds, and the address will appear in the list below the form you just filled out.
The user can access it through an email client (using the settings described in your welcome email) or through webmail. You can delete email accounts and change their passwords through the existing email account list.
